Middleton should open up strongly in World Cup

Five years on from the last World Cup there were 39 Red Roses awaiting squad selection, with the extended squad to be cut down to 32.
With the strength and depth that the Red Roses possess, having won the last 25 games, it was going to be real headache for head coach Simon Middleton to make the agonising decision of who goes on the plane to New Zealand and who stays at home.
