Liam Williams will play no part in Wales‘ Autumn Nations Series campaign after a collarbone injury on his Cardiff debut against Munster on Saturday.
Williams, 31, suffered the injury 20 minutes into his debut after falling heavily under a challenge.
He had looked bright up to that point, in his first game for the club since transferring from the Scarlets over the summer, but this is a nightmare start to what might well be the final move of his career.
It is also a major blow to his club and country, with Williams set to miss at least the rest of 2022, and now in a race to make the first game of the 2023 Six Nations, getting underway on the 4th February.
