DINGS Crusanders edged past Old Redcliffians in a humdinger of a local derby.
Unbeaten Dings began the scoring with outside-half TJ Wilstead’s penalty. From the kick-off, Reds had a penalty chance and Ashley Groves hit the target.
A penalty from the restart and quick passing saw full-back Kieran Kelly race in at the corner and Groves converted.
The nip-and-tuck game, while devoid of any more first-half scoring, was a thriller as both sides tried to better their rivals.
