Ealing Trailfinders were beaten at the death in Biarritz on Friday courtesy of a last minute 50m penalty from Brett Herron.
The visitors started well, as quick phases put Biarritz on the back foot and Craig Hampson managed to sneak through a gap at the ruck to open the scoring from 20m out.
Biarritz did not take long to respond, as Kerman Aurrekoetxea eventually dotted down from a maul seven metres out.
