Hegarty to head home

LEICESTER Tigers’ Bryce Hegarty will leave the club midway through the season to join Super Rugby side the Western Force.
The 29-year-old has played 15 games and scored 63 points, playing at both full-back and fly-half, since joining from the Queensland Reds last summer. Hegarty hopes to break into Australia’s World Cup squad. He said: “I felt the opportunity to put myself in the best position possible to be a part of the World Cup squad was too hard to let pass by.”
