London Irish’s Tom Pearson credits Cardiff Met University for getting him to where he is today – and believes BUCS Super Rugby can be a useful pathway to create future stars.
The 22-year-old flanker goes into next season off the back of a breakthrough season at Irish, playing 19 games in all competitions and guiding his side to Champions Cup rugby next term with an eighth-place finish – the club’s highest in 10 years.
