IF the people running the URC cared less about the planet, they’d be dead. The same goes for the individuals on the board of EPRC, the organising body of the Champions Cup and associated bun-fights.
How else do we explain the enthusiasm for repeated energy-burning flights across the Equator as a means of accommodating South African teams who consider themselves victims of geography, yet could easily beef up their domestic championship into something state-of-theart?
