NATIONAL One’s leading try scorer Benjamin Brownlie scored a hattrick in 24 minutes to secure five points on the road for Cambridge.
All of Brownlie’s tries came from driving mauls with Harry Johnston successfully converting each one.
Leeds fought gallantly in all other facets of the game. Their ten first-half points coming from a Tighe Maxwell-Whiteley penalty and a Dom Hardman try, which Maxwell-Whiteley converted.
