CHESTER comfortably beat strugglers Harrogate, with the result pretty much settled after half-an-hour.
The hosts were on top within minutes as they recovered their kick-off and shifted the Harrogate defence for Keir Gordon to cross after only two minutes.
After 13 minutes a driven line-out once again pulled in defenders, allowing full-back Gethin Long to score after an arcing break in midfield.
Then the visitors were thrown a lifeline.
