A STRONG wind down the pitch was going to be factor and the Tigers had first use and scored two penalties inside the first ten for an early 6-0 lead converted by skipper Mark Ireland.
The Tigers had the lion’s share of possession and a feature of their game was offloading to keep the ball alive.
Bourns ran what possession they had, but could not gain any territory and the Tigers scored two quick tries. Firstly Samuel Down and then Lee Monks, who benefited from some poor tackling.
