Forty-nine days after he last played rugby, scrum-half, Antoine Dupont returned to action last night, alongside international half-back partner Romain Ntamack, as Toulouse faced Racing 92 at Stade Ernest Wallon.
Seeing the duo back on a rugby pitch together, let alone on a teamsheet, will come as a relief to France coach Fabien Galthie, ahead of the Six Nations’ opener against Italy in Saint-Denis.
