GLASGOW coach Danny Wilson was thrilled with the way his men attacked the Connacht set-piece and then made hay when they got on top in that sector in a six tries to two win at the Sportsground in Galway.
Connacht, despite a creaking lineout, drew level early in the secondhalf but were then blown away as Glasgow, with former Connacht backs coach Nigel Carolan now on board, took control.
Wilson said: “I know they were missing a few internationals but we were missing seven. I thought we controlled the game well.”
