BURY ST Edmunds were left to rue their missed opportunities as they were edged out by visitors Worthing.
The Raiders dominated early on and took the lead through a Matt McLean penalty. Bury’s Charlie Reed missed two chances to level with the boot, while McLean was also off target.
A yellow card for Bury second-row Kelland allowed Worthing to kick a penalty deep into the hosts’ 22. They secured the line-out and scored a well-worked try through McLean, who converted for a 10-0 lead.
