Late kick-offs fuel drunken behaviour

I BELIEVE a major catalyst to making many fans ‘three sheets to the wind’ at rugby games is not the land’s largest public house, the stadia, it is the kick off time.
Premier League football derby games often kick off at 12:30pm to negate alcohol consumption whereas many Wales rugby games kick off at 5:30pm.
Maybe the WRU might wish to consider traditional 3pm starts, still coin it in at their bars and kerb an extra three hours of city centre ale consumption that leads to silliness.
