THE big shock of the afternoon was Sutton and Epsom’s 17-12 defeat of leaders Wimbledon, the first time this season that Wimbledon have had their colours lowered.
The home side got Chris Farrell and Kyren Ghumba over for tries both converted by Sam Hurley, who slotted a penalty to take the match.
The result sees Wimbledon drop to second as Dorking following a 5-47 win away to Brighton.
Fraser McDonald, Fraser Mosley (two), Charlie Connor, Henry Smith, Ed Gamu and Matt Noble were the try scorers, with Noble adding six conversions.
