A CROWD of around 400 augmented by an adjacent beer festival providing 1500 watchers witnessed a top game to welcome in the new season.
Fylde wasted no time getting on the scoresheet with a try by Scott Jordan in the first minute, and level the scores midway the first 2 Greg Smith kicked the conversion from an acute angle. This proved to be the first of seven tries the visitors scored, all from passing moves creating overlaps out wide.
