Passion of the fans got me hooked on my first outing

My first experience of National League Rugby came five years ago, when I was sent by <span xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" class="ld_italic">TRP </span>to cover Rosslyn Park vs Blaydon in National League 1 on a cold December day.
With Hartpury flying towards Championship promotion and a festive fire beckoning, it would have been tempting to stay in.
But 650 fans, including some brave souls who travelled from County Durham, were in full voice to cheer on the teams and enjoy a post-match pint.
