A LATE Jarrod Evans penalty put an end to a dramatic Scarlets comeback as Cardiff Blues came out on top in an exhilarating clash in Llanelli.
Cardiff were cruising as they held an almost unassailable 26-9 lead with just 16 minutes remaining, but the Scarlets hit back with three tries to snatch the lead.
But up stepped Evans who kept his cool to secure Cardiff ’s third win of the season over the Scarlets after the hosts were penalised at the breakdown.
