MLR newcomers LA Giltinis continued their assault on the rest of the league with a 43-16 win over the Toronto Arrows to keep the heat on Utah Warriors at the top of the Western Conference.
After scooping their first win of the season by beating Old Glory DC 40-19, the Arrows fell short against a stout Giltinis pack.
Fresh from a bye week, second row Corey Thomas was the first to score for Giltinis following early penalties traded by LA’s Matt Giteau – who kicked 11 points – and Arrows’ Tayler Adams.
