HARLEQUINS’ Champions Cup went belly-up from the start, a pointless sortie to Thomond Park yielding little more than three yellow cards, one for every Munster try.
Danny Care sportingly suggested that some of the opposition were good at ‘rolling around and diving’.
Like the rest of the first XV, the England scrum-half was nowhere to be seen last Sunday evening when Quins’ ushered Ulster into the last eight of the Challenge Cup by sending out their second team. In between, their first team had been overrun by Racing at The Stoop, hence their demotion to the secondary competition.
