SALE SHARKS boss Steven Diamond has abandoned his bid to tempt a Russian international to move to the AJ Bell Stadium.
Diamond had been in talks with the players about moving to the North West but now says that the deal won’t be going ahead.
Instead, he will be looking to promote a couple of players from his academy to give them the experience of playing in the Premiership.
