ENGLAND under Eddie Jones have not been slow to slap a red rose on those born some way beyond the shires.
A list formidable in its length includes a quartet of New Zealanders in Ben Te’o, Teimana Harrison, Brad Shields and Denny Solomona.
Then there were the Fijians, Samesa Rokoduguni and Nathan Hughes, while Don Armand came from Southern Africa, via Exeter.
Every one, of course, properly qualified under the three-year residency rule, an issue so contentious that few could understand why it took World Rugby so long to increase the period to five years.
