Last week saw the Premiership clubs hold their first Press conferences of the new season, and it’s always a time when everyone’s geese are swans – as expected, optimism was running high.

After the attritional end to last season, this one isn’t going to be much easier, and it’s possible that a club which is doing well in Europe and the Premiership could have a match every weekend until the end of June.
