PORTSMOUTH Valkyries head coach Mark Witcher believes the club is perfectly situated to heighten the exposure for women’s rugby in Hampshire.
Flying the flag on the eastern side of the Solent for the county comes with its challenges in the current climate for grassroots clubs, but Portsmouth RFC are in the special position of being able to draw on a population brimming with Navy personnel and university students.
