LET US hope that Edward Griffiths’ plans for a selffunding Championship prove to be workable, though I fear that TV and sponsorship packages may be hard to come by.
Irrespective of the – hopefully, short term – coronavirus crisis, the game desperately needs more money, if anything like the current structure is to be maintained.
