FIRST half supremacy proved crucial for Bedford in an entertaining game, staged in close to perfect conditions, between two teams who wanted to play.
Leading 20-10 at the break, Blues held on for the win despite Hartpury closing fast and earning a losing bonus point. “It was a tough match and I was really happy with how the lads dug in,” said Blues skipper Sean McCarthy.
