DARLINGTON head coach Garry Law made his first appearance of the season and helped them to victory against Bishop’s Stortford.
The visitors outscored their hosts three tries to two and the game was end-to-end from the start.
It was Stortford who broke the deadlock after Mowden were found wanting on the outside, Robert Duff profiting.
It wasn’t long before the home side levelled, when prop Talite Vaioleti crossed, with Warren Seals converting to put Mowden in front.
Seals added a penalty, before flanker Callum Mackenzie crossed near the posts.
