BRIDGEND eased their relegation concerns with a determined win over regional rivals Swansea. In the opening exchanges a clever Matt Aubrey grubber kick was fumbled by Connor Tantum, giving Swansea an attacking scrum seven metres out.
An infringement at the set piece by the Ravens’ pack allowed James Davies to kick his side 3-0 ahead. However, a poor handling error by Aubrey gifted Bridgend a scrum five. He then paid the ultimate price when Dewi Cross popped up in midfield to crash over for a try under the posts.
