NEWBRIDGEare number one at Christmas in One East after bagging a 33-13 bonus-point home victory over Nelson.
Jimmy Gahan was at the double with Stuart Vokes, Dan Davies and Chris Davies also going over in another five-star show from the league leaders. Eamonn Rees kicked four conversions to complete the win.
The Nelson tries were scored by Carl Maybank and Dafydd Hellard.
It was an eighth victory out of nine for unbeaten Newbridge who remain a point above also undefeated Brecon.
