Jaco puts the boot into Wasps’ Euro hopes

DAI Young urged his faltering Wasps squad to “stay strong together” after losing for the second week running to Edinburgh.
Two late penalties from substitute fly-half Jaco van der Walt rewarded Edinburgh for an excellent second-half display.
Wasps led 7-3 at half-time, thanks to Nizaam Carr’s try, but Edinburgh proved too strong after the interval.
They were aided by a big effort from their substitutes led by van der Walt plus a group of hard-working forwards backing up the deeds of back-rowers Jamie Ritchie and Vili Mata who lasted the full 80 minutes.
