STOURBRIDGE fought back to set up a thrilling finish, but it proved too late after visitors Chester bagged a bonus point inside 30 minutes.
Chester started strongly and, after just two minutes, crisp passing put Harrison Vare in on the left for a try which converted by Mark Dixon.
Stourbridge were slower into tackles and made unforced errors.
George Baxter broke through for a further Chester try and, six minutes later William Du Rant, added another, converted by Shay Owen.
