Falcons spread their wings in final quarter rout

FIVE tries in the last 25 minutes saw Newcastle finally show the class that sets them apart in the Championship, allowing the Falcons to put a lot of gloss on a win that looked in the balance for nearly an hour.
Despite beating Hartpury by a large margin for the third time this season on an icy cold Friday night at Kingston Park, Falcons struggled to unlock the Gloucestershire-side until finding another gear when the game narrowed to just a five-point margin.
