BATH’S Wales veteran centre Jamie Roberts groaned after this scrappy one-point defeat: “It’s devastating because we should have won.
“Ulster were efficient. They didn’t play too much rugby but capitalised on our mistakes.
“We had the majority of the ball and territory but kept running into their defence. It means we need to win two games on the road which is always tough in this competition.”
Ulster full-back Will Addison believes they made a huge European statement with the tense one-point away win to give them a flying start to Pool 3.
