MARK Ireland’s penalty after the clock turned red was the difference between the sides as Sheffield Tigers snatched a dramatic late win at Dore Moor.
On a rain-sodden pitch both sides cancelled each other out as they adopted a kicking game which suited the conditions.
With three penalties each and the clock running down, Hull looked to be on course for their second consecutive draw but Ireland’s long-range effort settled the game.
