LEAGUE leaders Richmond recovered strongly from last week’s defeat and were far superior to Rotherham, who weren’t good enough to earn a losing bonus point.
Tries by prop Alex Banfield and then from hooker Ross Grimstone stressed the strength of Richmond’s pack which dominated ball and territory to the extent that Rotherham were rarely allowed to create tryscoring chances and, on the brief occasions they did, failed to break through.
