Drama as Rochford’s run comes to end

IN the battle of the top two at Barnham Road, it was ding-dong right to the end. This was after Rochford Hundred had pulled back from a 28-12 deficit to take a 29-28 lead with minutes to go.
However, a final penalty gave leaders Wimbledon the honours, the first time Rochford’s colours had been lowered since April 2017. Wimbledon scored tries through Ollie Kitto, Paul Hendry and Kain Rix, with James Moffat adding two conversions and four penalties.
