Ireland puts a steer on the Dore Moor ship

SHEFFIELD Tigers overcame a sluggish start to come out on top in a nervy game at Dore Moor, moving up to 21 points in the league. Luctonians began the game well, going into a 15-0 lead after a penalty from Louis Silver and tries from Rob Lewis and Francis Kelly.
Sheffield did soon work themselves into the game, as the tie evened up with the half wearing on. A converted try from Jamie Broadley and a penalty from Mark Ireland ensured both sides were within touching distance at the break.
