New boys edge it to maintain hot streak

RAMS maintained their unbeaten start to their first ever season at this level.
In a low-scoring win away to a misfiring Darlington Mowden Park, flair and invention were not on offer but maul and scrum were the order of the day – and the visitors had this facet mastered.
DMP simply failed to fire and Rams did just enough in the first half to secure the four-point win.
Rams possessed some aggressive defence when required but the hosts certainly played their part early on and defended well, which for both teams were the highlights of the game.
