THE Students were looking to bounce back in their first home game after a disappointing defeat away last week.
Indeed, Loughborough soon had Hinckley on the back foot.
The home team took full advantage of an early opportunity, leading to Sam Griffin opening the scoring in the first few minutes.
Hinckley tried to quickly retaliate and mounted a strong attack, but Jamie Harding and his colleagues ensured any strong carries were halted.
