THERE was agony for Scunthorpe in a heart-stopping final few minutes.
Ollie Cole scored and Will Robinson converted to give them the lead, so all Scunthorpe had to do was keep the ball and win.
Fate, though, had it the Tigers’ way. From the kickoff, Scunthorpe dropped the ball, which tumbled forward for Henry Packard to catch and dart over for the clinching try, which Mark Ireland converted.
There were only a few seconds left and Scunthorpe tried valiantly but ran out of time as the the final whistle blew.
