THE PRO14 final at Celtic Park last night brought a new twist to the old maxim about there being two teams in Glasgow. For the first time, Billy Connolly’s home-town hosted simultaneous Cup finals – Celtic-Hearts at Hampden Park followed by Glasgow Warriors-Leinster at Celtic Park.
Each won their respective Conferences at a gallop. How strange, then, that the competition’s so-called Dream Team featured only one Glasgow player, tighthead Zander Fagerson, and only one from Leinster, Australian second row Scott Fardy.
