THERE was no fairytale Champions Cup qualification to end Bristol’s season. Despite dominating for large portions of the game they were unable to get the try bonuspoint in a stop-start game at Kingston Park.
Head coach Pat Lam admitted they “felt pleased but not happy” after the Bears headed into the match with an outside chance of claiming a top six place.
