CHINNOR’S first campaign in National 1 ended with a hard-fought loss against physical Plymouth Albion.
The game was decided at scrum time where the referee continually penalised the home side which led to two Plymouth tries, one from full-back Dan Powell and the second from skipper Herbie Stupple.
Chinnor fought back courageously in the final quarter but were just unable to level.
