Jennings blames demons for assault charge

SALE Sharks centre Mark Jennings has admitted his behaviour was “unforgiveable” following his conviction for assaulting a police officer.
He pleaded guilty to a Section 4 public order offence after police attended a domestic dispute at his home in Hale, Greater Manchester, on February 2.
The 26-year-old must complete 80 hours unpaid work and pay a total of £350 in compensation.
Jennings, below, said in a statement on Twitter he was “trying to fight my demons”.
He apologised to the police and said he had no recollection of the inciden...
