NOT for the first time, there was a tense ending to an encounter between these two sides.
In the closing seconds a late Bedford drop-goal drifted wide to leave Hartpury with the vital win which lifted themselves above Richmond at the foot of the table.
Hartpury bosss John Barnes said: “We are really pleased to get the bonus point win. It was another roller-coaster game for us, particularly missing touch at the end to give Bedford a final opportunity. We were lucky that they missed.”
