FOLLOWING a strong performance against Sale earlier this month, there were high hopes of Loughborough repeating it.
However, plans fell short and the Students were defeated at home by a stronger Blackheath side who were clincial in attack and strong in defence.
Both teams made a strong start but the visitors moved ahead courtesy of a penalty try, with their forwards quickly gaining the upper hand.
However, the Students recovered quickly, with prop Nathan Boye scoring their first from close range following a neat move..
