NATIONAL One bottom side Loughborough Students looked to build momentum on home turf following last week’s win, but fell to defeat against a rampant Old Elthamians.
The visitors got off to a strong start, with an early try for Tom White paired with a successful conversion leading to a 7-0 scoreline not long after kick-off.
The Students quickly responded well after a scrum, and a try scored by the Students No.8 Adrian van der Ploeg closed the gap to 7-5.
