A LATE Harry Bullough score saw Wharfedale sneak victory on the road, pushed all the way by Preston Grasshoppers in a feisty affair.
In a competitive and hard-fought game in which no less 32 penalties were awarded, James Gough gave the hosts the lead after seven minutes following a short-range scrum, with Tom Davidson converting the extras.
Hoppers continued to press, and Ryan Carlson extended their lead by exploiting a gap midway through the half, Davidson again converting, giving them a 14-0 lead at halftime.
