SHAUN Edwards hopes Wales’ Six Nations opener with France will have none of the “shenanigans” which dominated their last trip to Paris.
At the Stade de France in 2017, Warren Gatland’s side were beaten 20-18 in a match which lasted 100 minutes and was dominated by a controversial late sequence of reset scrums and yellow cards.
Wing George North also claimed he’d been bitten during the game and Edwards has admitted the pain of that defeat lives on.
