BEES produced a dogged defensive display to pull off a prized victory and boost their chances of beating the drop.
In a war of attrition at times, they bossed the opening quarter before taking the lead when scrum-half Jack Jolly slotted over a penalty.
A decisive score came five minutes later when they claimed lineout ball before setting up a mammoth rolling maul which trundled fully 30 metres before going over the Worthing line, with second-row Andy Weaver getting the vital touch.
